In this week’s episode of Ecosphere, we interview Erin McAllister from Sonoma State University’s History department.
We discuss Erin’s thesis which examines the intertwined nature of the popularization of science in the 1800s, female botanical writers, women’s roles in science, and the maternal and instructive tone of the British Empire. Erin also talks about how her studies and work as a librarian has led her back to history and onto teaching.
Ecosphere is made possible by KSUN, Sonoma State University’s Radio Station.
